Defying Doubt: “Embracing a New Chapter of Resilience and Change”

In the depths of my heart, there's a pain that's hard to put into words—a weight that comes from losing my nephew. But I carry more than just the sorrow; I take on a mission to prove that his life had meaning and that change is here. It's not always easy, though. People doubt, question, and challenge my belief that things are different now.

One of the hardest parts is standing up for what my niece Gianna said—that her daddy, George Floyd, changed the world. Some folks can't see the change that's happening, and that's where it gets tough. But I've felt something greater guiding me, like my holy Father's hands are on my shoulders, pushing me to take on this role in activism.

I've learned that I can't change everyone's mind, and that's okay. So many of our people have been through so much for so long that they can't imagine a better future. The struggle has taken a toll on their hope. It's not up to me to change their minds. Instead, I've come to see that my purpose is to lead by example, to show them through my actions that change is possible.

This realization comes from something beyond me, something divine. I'm not here to argue or convince. I'm here to be a source of light, to let God's love shine through me, and to be living proof that transformation is real. We're not victims; we're fighters, survivors, and winners in our own right.

I've decided to break free from the chains of the past, from the pain that held me back. It all shifted at 9:29, a time that marked my liberation from old beliefs. I won't let myself be defined by anyone else's notions anymore. I stand tall as a symbol of resilience, proving that we're stronger than anyone could imagine.

My journey is about faith, courage, and the unwavering belief that we can make a change. Carrying my nephew's memory is a responsibility but also a driving force. I know I'm not alone in this. With the strength of God and the support of everyone who believes, we're moving forward, leaving behind the old ways and stepping into a new, brighter future.

With determination,

Angela Harrelson
